Woodlore® Shutters

Woodlore® Shutters are made using solid wood with a hardwood composite core in a medical-grade polypropylene coating. This strength and durability, combined with an outstanding appearance, are what makes Woodlore® Shutters the world’s best-selling window shutters.

Norman® does its part for the environment by using 95% of rapid-growth trees to construct Woodlore® Shutters. Wood composite is also biodegradable, unlike many shutters made from synthetic materials. These shutters can withstand temperatures up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit without sagging, and UV inhibitors protect against fading and yellowing. Composite wood shutters from Norman® also resist staining, making them an excellent whole-home solution.

Woodlore® Plus Shutters

Lightweight yet durable, Woodlore® Plus Shutters are made using a wood composite hybrid and ABS for its louvers. ABS is a material found in high-end endurance applications like car parts and appliances. A structured wood frame and rail provide stability, and Woodlore® Plus Shutters are VOC-safe.

Hidden structural support within the louvers took its inspiration from aeronautics, and a waterproof option allows you to hang Woodlore® Plus Shutters in any room, including bathrooms. An ABS copolymer accompanies the waterproof option and protects your shutters from chips, dents, and scratches. Stainless steel hinges are guaranteed never to rust or corrode.

Choose from various specialty shapes and sizes, including round and triangular windows. Match your shutters to existing decor with 27 color choices, or have a custom color created especially for you.

Normandy® Shutters
